On the modified intermediate long-wave equation

Abstract:

We consider the modified intermediate long-wave equation u(t) - partial derivative(x)u(3) + 1/theta u(x) + VP integral(R)1/2 theta coth (pi(y-x)/2 theta)u(yy) (t, y) dy = 0. We develop the factorization technique to study the large time asymptotics of solutions.
