Preservation theorems for Namba forcing
Abstract:
We study preservation properties of Namba forcing on ?. We prove that if I is an ideal with a Borel base on ?? and ?>?1 is a regular cardinal less than the uniformity number or bigger than the covering number of I, then the ?-Namba forcing preserves the covering of I. The situation at ?=?1, also treated here, is more complex.
