Rapid estimates of RSV disease burden in the United States
Abstract:
During the fall and winter in the United States, RSV is the leading cause of infant hospitalization and an important cause of morbidity and mortality among older adults and adults with certain chronic medical conditions. Real-time estimates of RSV burden during the respiratory virus season are needed to?track seasonal trajectory, population impact, and health system burden.
